Tomorrow is Guru Poornima... the day of the Guru...

TeraRoop said...: What exactly occurs on this day? I assume it is a ceremony of respect and reverence to the Guru? The shigirdh displays his loyalty, or something similar?

Or I could be victim to popular myth. I'd appreciate it if you could clear this up.
